June 2011 Rate Changes
Effective June 1, 2011, the Southern California Edison (SCE) rates listed below changed (increased or decreased) as follows:
- The Distribution charge changed for all rates.
- The Cost Responsibility Surcharge Undercollection Charge (CRS-UC), Competition Transition Charge (CTC) and Power Charge Indifference Adjustment (PCIA) for Direct Access (DA), Customer Choice Aggregation (CCA) and CA Cerritos customers changed for all applicable rates.
- A 2011 Vintage Direct Access Cost Responsibility Surcharge (DA-CRS) was added.
- The Conservation Incentive Adjustment (CIA) charge changed for all residential tiered structure rates.
- Rate Tiers 1 and 2 increased for residential non-California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE) rates. CARE Tier 1 and Tier 2 rates remain unchanged.
- Rate Tiers 3 - 5 decreased for all residential rates.
- The Nuclear Decommissioning Charge (NDC) decreased for all rates.
- The Transmission Owners Tariff Charge Adjustment (TOTCA) decreased for all rates.
- The Generation charge decreased for all rates, including Real-Time Pricing (RTP-2) and Pumping and Agricultural Real-Time Pricing (PA-RTP) hourly factors.
- Maximum available credits for dual participation decreased for all applicable rates.
- The Public Purpose Programs Charge (PPPC) increased for all rates.
- The New System Generation Charge (NSGC) increased for all rates.
- Light-Emitting Diode (LED) monthly lamp charges are included in the Lighting - Street and Highway (LS-1) rate schedule.
