GS-APS
(Air Conditioner Cyclying Program - Base)
This rate applies to commercial and industrial GS-2 and TOU-GS-2 customers, re-opened April 14, 2001, with no change to the existing program. This program offers participating customers credits on their summer season bills in exchange for allowing SCE to install a remotely controlled cycling device on their air conditioner(s). The cycling device permits SCE to periodically turn off, or "cycle," a customer's air conditioner(s) for short periods during the height of the summer season. Air conditioner interruptions are limited to 6 hours per event, 15 events per summer season. The summer season is from June 1st through October 1st each year.

GS-APS-E
(Air Conditioner Cycling Program - Enhanced)
This rate applies to commercial and industrial GS-2 or TOU-GS-2 customers, re-opened April 14, 2001. This program offers participating customers credits on their summer season bills in exchange for allowing SCE to install a remotely controlled cycling device on their air conditioner(s). The cycling device permits SCE to periodically turn off, or "cycle," a customer's air conditioner(s) an unlimited number of occurrences and a maximum of 6 hours per event during the height of the summer season. When compared with the Base ACCP, the Enhanced ACCP provides double the credit amounts, but the potential number of times SCE may turn off the air conditioner is unlimited during the summer season. The summer season is from June 1st through October 1st each year.

Electric Industry Restructuring
The restructuring of the California electric industry in March 1998 gave customers the following options:
- Direct Access — Rate Schedule DA (PDF) is for customers who elect to purchase electric power and ancillary services from an Electric Service Provider (ESP). Certain restrictions apply. Since September 2001, the California Public Utilities Commission has suspended direct access for new customers.
- Interval Meter Ownership — Rate Schedule BSC-IMO is for customers who want to continue to purchase power from SCE but want to purchase and own an interval meter to obtain more information about their energy usage.
For more information on these options, contact SCE at 1-800-799-4723.

Tariff Services
These are SCE's value-added services.
Southern California Edison offers more than just electricity. A quick look around this site will show you just how many helpful energy-related services we provide. Following are tariff services offer by SCE that you may not be familiar with:
- Equipment Leasing — If you are considering adding equipment to, or substituting equipment for, SCE's standard energy-services-related equipment, you may be able to lease some or all of it from SCE. You pay SCE to use the equipment through a contract financed by SCE or by you. For more information, contact SCE at 1-800-990-7788,
1-800-896-1245, or 1-800-799-4723. - Energy Use Tracking — One of the best ways to control your company's energy costs is to track your electricity usage. Edison's Advanced Metering, Information Communication, and Operational System, SCE Energy ManagerĀ® allows you to track your energy usage over a customized, password-secured Web site. Note: The system requires an interval meter to gather necessary data.
- Interval Meter Service and Charges — If you are considering purchasing and owning your own interval meter, over and above the standard metering required for your energy rate, SCE offers a variety of metering options under Schedule CC-DSF.
