What are Affinity Groups?

Southern California Edison's "affinity groups" are comprised of employee volunteers who share various cultures, traditions, ethnicities, or sexual and gender preferences.  Affinity groups promote cultural awareness within the Edison community and assist their members and others to achieve personal and professional growth, leadership, and to learn teamwork skills.

The affinity groups represent diverse backgrounds and preferences, including, but not limited to: African Americans, Hispanics, Chinese, Vietnamese, Filipinos, gays and lesbians.
